Our first National Park! Big Bend is so big and so beautiful, a second week (and 3rd?) week was deserved. We’ll just have to come back.

We had no idea what our gas and RV Parks budget was going to be before we actually left our home base of Johns Creek GA. Here is what it all ended up costing!

RV Problems? WHAT problems? Oh, those problems...We have officially been full time RVers for 2 whole weeks now, and it’s been quite an experience! We thought we’d share some of the issues that we have had to figure out…and some that we’re still stumped about!

In between our visits to Waco and Austin, we visited and stayed at a popular hot spot that was actually in a documentary on Netflix! We could have easily stayed a couple nights here due to their hospitality and wine/meads.

Waco, Tx. Home of our favorite TV couple (if you don’t know who we are referring to, shame on you!). Magnolia Table was better than we expected. But we found out that Waco isn’t just a one trick pony.

Our first attempt at boondocking was at Bayou Teche Brewery in Louisiana. We pulled into the parking lot of brewery at 4:55pm, just in time for happy hour. Or so we thought. The taproom closed at 5pm!

The Po Boy Fesitval, a rain-soaked stroll around the French Quarter, and of course the famous the famous Cafe Du Monde! One day was not nearly enough…

Our first trip on our Wanderpreneurs road trip was Gulf Shores, AL. Besides chilling on the beach and getting accustomed to RV life during our one week stay in Gulf Shores, we were excited to try out Big Beach Brewery.

We are FINALLY on the road! Our first stop wasn’t all fun and games. Learning curves can be steep, but we couldn’t be more excited to start our year long tour of the U.S!
