You NEED to check out Boundless Life

What is Boundless Life?

Well, it’s one of the most amazing programs we’ve ever had the opportunity to be a part of!

Boundless Life empowers families with children to experience the same nomad lifestyle that many people without children have been enjoying for years. It creates a complete "live abroad" immersive experience for families looking to get the most of what the digital age and the world can offer.

They set families up with:

  • Furnished housing

  • An education program that follows the children wherever they go

  • A dedicated co-working space

  • A community of families who want to explore the world while working remotely.

It’s why we’re living in in Syros, Greece for 3 months and I can’t wait to tell you more about it!

Boundless Life is a rapidly growing company who currently offers destinations in Greece, Portugal, Italy and Indonesia and has plans to expand even more.

It is geared towards families with children ages 1-12, and families are required to enroll at least one child in the education program to participate in a cohort.

Boundless Education

Boundless Life Education Center

Boundless Life Education Center

The Boundless education program was inspired by the world-renowned Finnish system, and was developed by taking the best parts from the world's best educational practices to build one coherent system that can follow your child anywhere.

Boundless Education is a learning system that lays the foundation for innovation, maximizes experiential learning, and creates meaningful connections to ourselves, our communities and the world.

Currently, school ages are between 1-12 and school days are Monday-Friday from 8:45am-3:30pm. Class sizes and groupings are a maximum of:

  • Ages 1-3 (12 kids)

  • Ages 4-6 (14 kids)

  • Ages 7-9/grades 1-3 (17 kids)

  • Ages 10-12/grades 4-6 (17 kids)

Exact class sizes and age groups may vary based on how many children sign up for each cohort. For instance, in our cohort, our kids were the oldest ones at 12 and 10, so their class included kids from age 7-12.

The organization recently rolled out their Trailblazer Program, for kids ages 13-14, and you can learn all abou that HERE.

How much does Boundless Life Education cost for a 3 month cohort?

€1,700 / month / child

  • 10 - 15% sibling discounts

  • One-time €350 registration fee/child

What is included in the Boundless Life Education Cost?

The kids have cultural immersion field trips every 2 weeks. These are included in the price. A morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack are served and included in pricing.

What is not included in the Boundless Life Education Cost?

There are optional extra curricular activities that children can participate in after school, that have an additional cost. Here are a few examples of some of the ones offered in the Syros spring cohort:

  • Sailing lessons- includes transportation, wetsuit and sailing equipment. €600 for 10 lessons

  • Kung Fu- €250 for 9 lessons

  • Guitar- €340 for 7 lessons. Includes the guitar.

Pricing and offerings will vary based on location and season! Be sure and check the Boundless Life website for the most current pricing, as I’m guessing it will go up due to inflation.

Boundless Accommodations

Each family can choose between 1 to 4 bedroom apartments fully equipped and custom-designed with families in mind. All utilities, including high-speed internet and weekly cleaning and linen changes, are included.

Each home comes with a washing machine as well. All apartments are within walking distance of the coworking Hub and Education Center.

You have the option to secure your own housing if you want. Pricing for apartments varies depending on how many bedrooms you want, the location and timing of the cohort you choose, as well as whether you want a standard home or home+, which is one of the best homes they have in their local portfolio.

You can find the pricing charts for the different locations on this page from their website. Boundless does ask you to fill out a form with your preferences before arrival, so they can choose the best home for you.

Boundless Services

There is a €450 EUR per parent, per month fee that includes:

Co-working HUB in Syros, Greece

  • Access to the community

  • Local community manager to support you during your stay

  • Weekly wellness activities, welcome & farewell events

  • Airport transfers

  • 24/7 access to the coworking hub

What does the Community Manager do?

I want to touch on how imperative it is to have a community manager during your stay. The community manager is a local who is familiar with the area and can assist you in anything you need.

This could be a wide range of things such as calling a cab, finding a babysitter, locating certain grocery items, coming to your rescue when you accidentally lock yourself out of your apartment… (yes, that happened to us!!) and so much more.

Moving to a new country and not knowing the language is intimidating to say the least. With the support Boundless provides, it’s an easy transition!

Coworking Hub Details and perks

The coworking hub is open 24/7 so you can work whatever hours you want/need to. There’s a kitchen area with a fridge and complimentary coffee, tea and snacks.

The HUB many types of spaces to work from. You can work alone in a private office with a door, which is great for phone calls and doing recordings.

There are cubicles with second monitors for you to plug your laptop into, or work in a more open spot at one of the desks or large shared tables.

There are small or large conference areas tha provide great space to meet with other members in your cohort to discuss work projects or gain inspiration and learn/grow together.

Wifi is fast and reliable at the hub, but if you want to work from home sometimes, each home has Wifi as well.

Boundless Community

Boundless Life builds in tons of opportunities to help ensure you find friends and create lasting friendships with the other families in your cohort.

There is a weekly schedule of free events that everyone is welcome to join in on such as:

  • Walking tour Mondays

  • Yoga on Tuesdays

  • Family soccer on Thursday evenings

These get togethers are always optional, but are great ways to get closer to the people you’re in the program with.

You will also have many opportunities to create memories with those around you by attending ladies night out, guys night out, and other events such as group hikes and dinners that do have an additional cost, but are again always optional.

We found that there are so many opportunities that we couldn’t do them all!

They are available so that each family can decide which activities and events they want to do, and those families that want a full schedule of events can have that, while families that would rather have more down time can achieve that as well!

Here are 3 examples of optional activities our Greece cohort had that cost money that you can choose to participate in, so that you can get an idea of what they might include.

  • Ladies night out- Ladies meet at a local establishment at 8PM and have drinks and snacks. Each lady pays for whatever they eat/drink.

  • Traditional Easter Sunday Feast at Anassa Cycladic Village- €35 for adults, €20 for children

  • Prehistoric Settlement Castri Adult Hike (while kids are in school)- €25 per person, includes transportation and tour

Before your cohort starts, you are invited to join an app where you can easily chat with other members of your cohort and also RSVP for events. There is a calendar with events listed so you can keep track of all the opportunities you have!

Is Boundless Life worth it?

As I’m writing this, we are less than 2 weeks into our spring cohort in Syros, Greece and my mind has already been blown and expectations exceeded. We are sharing what daily life looks like on social media, so be sure to follow us for much more at @the.wanderpreneurs .

As so many people work remotely these days and travel is becoming easier and more popular, it’s easy to see why this organization is growing so rapidly.

If you would like more info, check out the Boundless Life website, where you can easily book a call to talk with one of their team members.

I recently found out that the team members who you talk to when you call with questions are all people who have participated in a Boundless Life cohort, and now work for Boundless Life, so they have firsthand experience with the program!
