Best Outdoor Chairs For RVers

One of the most important investments you can make as an RVer, camper, or outdoor enthusiast is a good outdoor chair!

We have tried out quite a few, and have grown to love GCI Outdoor chairs. A major benefit to GCI Outdoor is that they have a 1 year warranty on their chairs. This is huge for us. We use our chairs all the time, and they are out in all kinds of weather, so we love knowing that we are covered if anything happens to them. They have a really nice selection of chairs, including rockers, which are our absolute favorite.

We have owned and thoroughly tested out three of their rockers, and we often get asked which is our favorite. I’m going to go over some of the features of each chair we’ve owned so you can make an informed decision as to which one would be the best fit for YOU!

Pod Rocker

The Pod Rocker has a structured sling-style seat and mesh seat panels.

It has an attached phone and drink holder, and is great any any weather.

It has spring-loaded shocks that allow for smooth rocking motion, and it comes with a carrying bag for easy transport.

Max Relax Pod Rocker

The Max Relax Pod Rocker is the beefed up version of the Pod Rocker.

It’s padded, plush and comfy, making it a great chair for cooler temps. It’s the only one of the three that doesn’t have mesh in the seat area, so it it great at keeping you warm.

This is the ideal chair for fall or winter. It also has a phone and drink holder, as well as a carrying bag.

The only downside is that the extra padding soaks in the water and doesn’t dry very quickly, so be sure to put it away in wet weather.

Firepit Rocker

The FirePit Rocker sits lower to the ground, making it great for shorter people or kids, but Aaron thinks the seat level is ideal, and he is six feet tall!

It has an almost completely mesh back, which is great for warmer weather, and has padded armrests.

It has a drink holder, but no phone holder. Instead of a bag, it has a built-in handle for portability.

To sit taller, the Freestyle Rocker sits 5 inches taller with the same features.

All three are great options for sturdy, comfortable outdoor chairs. We have brought and used our GCI Outdoor Chairs all over the U.S. and Mexico, and they’ve served us well!

Like any chair, the more you leave them outside in the elements, the quicker they will age, so make sure you take care of them. Investing in great camping chairs is high priority for us due the amount of time we spend using them. Whether you are more of a rocker-type person or you are looking for a more traditional chair, you’ll find something in GCI’s selection that will fit your taste.
